Nehemiah
2:20
"...The God of Heaven, He will prosper us,
therefore we his servants will arise and build..."
Just as God had
called the Israelites to go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the
walls, so has God called the Lipperts to build walls. Though they
may be walls of a different kind, a building for the foreign missionary,
they fulfill God's calling for our lives.
God has called
Harry to support the missionary on the foreign field through the
work of Missions Construction.
This enables the
missionary on the field to concentrait on building the church
~ the people, and not to have to spend a lot of time building
a building. Because of Harry's extensive experience in construction,
he is able to help the foreign missionary get the building that
they need. We take for granted the building that we meet in each
week. Many a missionary meets in what we would consider a shack,
yet they are happy just to have a meeting place. When a building
is built the church grows, thus more people come to know Christ
as their Lord and Savior.
